S02 E26: BYOP(umpkin)

Tonight we each bring a pumpkin beer. None of us are huge fans of pumpkin beers in general, but maybe tonight will change things….

To The Pint

Jeremy - Almanac Pumpkin Sour - This is a spiced brown ale aged in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels with roasted pumpkins.  8/10Keith - KBC Pumpkin Ale  - This is terrible. Crap. Possible that it is too old and damaged, but this tastes like you liked somebody's butt after they ate pumpkin pie.  1/10Rob - Harvest Patch Shandy - Their traditional Weiss beer blended with natural pumpkin spice flavor to give you notes of nutmeg, allspice and clove. No real citrus taste; not what you would expect as a shandy. Not bad.  6/10Gary - Anderson Valley Fall Hornin' - A Pumpkin Ale with aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. Slightly interesting, but not something I would want a 6-pack of. 4/10
